Retired from the Rectory
Msgr. Andrew Cassin was an old friend of Dixon Studio
and one of its original patrons.
Back in the early 1990's, he commissioned
dozens of stained glass windows
for St. Peter Catholic Church in Waldorf, Maryland.
He retired in his 90's from St. Francis of Assisi Parish
in Staunton, which entrusted Dixon's Church Antiques
with selling the artwork
from his rectory to raise funds for his retirement.
We offered this service free of charge
or commissions to our old friend
and were gratified by the generous donations
of parishioners to thank him for his service.
This good and faithful servant has now passed on
and there are a few remaining items in his estate.
